Kaitlyn & Justin

A Magical Fall Wedding

November 1st felt like something out of a storybook — the kind of day that starts off a little chilly, then slowly warms as the sun climbs higher, wrapping everything in that perfect golden fall glow. From the moment I arrived, everything about Kaitlyn and Justin’s day felt easy, joyful, and so full of love.

Every detail was in its place, the timeline ran perfectly, and the atmosphere was calm yet buzzing with excitement. There was such a sense of peace in the air — the kind that lets you slow down and really soak in each moment.

Kaitlyn and Justin were just the sweetest. The way they laughed together, how they couldn’t stop smiling or teasing one another — it was like watching two high school sweethearts on their first date all over again. Their joy was contagious. You couldn’t help but feel lighter just being around them.

Their wedding party was the perfect reflection of that same energy — full of laughter, hype, and heart. Kaitlyn’s girls were so supportive, constantly cheering her on, while Justin’s guys brought the best kind of fun and friendship. It was such a tight-knit, happy group, and it showed in every photo.

One of my favorite moments of the day was Kaitlyn’s first look with her dad — that quiet, emotional second when he saw his daughter as a bride for the very first time. His tears said it all. Then came the first look with Justin, and truly, sparks were flying. The way they looked at each other in that moment was so genuine and full of love.

The ceremony was everything you’d hope for — laughter, a few happy tears, and so much joy. You could feel the depth of love in the room — generations of it, all gathered together to celebrate the start of something new....And the reception? Pure fun. From glow sticks lighting up the dance floor to delicious food, a gorgeous cake, a t-shirt toss and a glowing send-off at the end of the night, it was the perfect way to close out such a beautiful day.

Kaitlyn and Justin’s wedding was one of those days that leaves you smiling long after you pack up your camera. It was magical, heartwarming, and full of that kind of love that reminds you why you fell in love with photographing weddings in the first place.
